Positive Daily Action
In order to make a change and transform your lifestyle it is not enough to have the desire to change.
Taking productive steps and understanding and recognising the opportunities that are around us is astounding. Those first steps to success are there for the taking. You can regain your power and build from the bottom up a solid productive lifestyle and coaching business.
To transform your lifestyle from where it is now to where you really want to be requires the daily application of personal development strategies and a consistent step-by-step awareness to radically transform your lifestyle.
P.S. I would love to know how you operate your PDA, do write to me at the
IIC and share.

Acronym
This is an interesting acronym A.C.T.
Action Conquers Terror.
Visiting the theatre is a favourite pastime of mine as the actors bring to life their story and by the magic of acting I and the rest of the audience are drawn into their world. However within the realms of coaching I find the concept of ACT a very forward moving tool as it removes the element of fear and those negative based 'can't do' feelings.

Moving Forward with Determined Action
Beginning a project and then continuing as you mean to go on is all about self management and is just as important as setting your goals. Even more important is having the inner desire to activate your outer self to move forward from the front and achieve those goals.
Having the wherewithal to succeed is no trivial element and requires determined action. Benjamin Franklin was a firm believer in single-minded action and I wholeheartedly agree.
I can confidently guarantee my coaching clients’ success when they take specific, daily action to move forward as part of their ‘game plan.
Game Plan
If you don’t have a game plan it’s like going through life as if you were flying a plane without a flight plan. OK so you may have luck on your side and take off, but if you haven’t set your flight course, you might find yourself flying around without any idea of which air routes are open to you to fly in, where you could safely land, or worse than that you might crash.
Taking the responsibility to become your own manager and step up to the front line as the leader of your own life, being the person in charge of your own destiny is part of your personal development strategy to deploy both leadership capabilities that by the way are inherent in all of us, and inspire those around us and to profoundly raise confidence levels of both self and others. Of course you could choose to put your life on auto pilot and let others be in charge of how you live your life and spend your money.
The Basics of Setting a Winning Goal Plan
Decide to play the game of life on your level, this way you actually live your life on purpose, have fun and act with determination about everything that really matters.
Keep your plan of action realistic so you can make a true and positive difference to you lifestyle. Promise yourself that you will commit to do what it takes to achieve your goals and put a time frame on it. Plot your line of action to include short term, medium term and long term goals. Keep all goals attainable yet include specific routes/actions that will lead to your desired outcome.
Moving forward with determined action - does produce results and usually of the positive kind. Throughout my career as life coach, consultant, abundance and prosperity author and mentor I have encouraged my clients (and coaching students) to keep on keeping on while moving forward with determined action.
I encourage you to do the same.
Top Tips
Managing self and experiencing success can sometimes be a huge challenge and can stop you from living the life you truly deserve.
A top tip that I’d like to share with you now so you can break free and break through the challenge you may have is to recognise your fears.
I find that just by recognising and taking ownership of my fears I become totally liberated. You can too. Fears are truly conquered when we confront them.
All I have to do is make the decision to step out of my comfort zone and into the zone of personal responsibility. I can then see what needs to be done for success and I commit to taking the necessary action required. Give it a go and notice the difference!

Out of your Comfort Zone
Stretching your comfort zone is often necessary to increase personal and professional development and reach your maximum potential. In order for anyone to grow and develop it is necessary to push their boundaries, experience new situations, learn new skills and often take a calculated risk. These are some of the challenges that appear when expanding your comfort zone.
It is these times, when you may feel vulnerable, scared and uncertain, that the support of a coach can help you overcome these worries and take the necessary steps to gently expand into new experiences.
Acknowledging the power your comfort zone has over you is important. It literally is the life you are comfortable with and that is very attractive and appealing. Keeping within your comfortable life reduces stress, is familiar, you know the boundaries and you are used to the good and bad it offers. Expanding you comfort zone takes you into the unknown, with unknown challenges and unknown benefits!
Being able to gain control and carry on is one of the biggest ways to increase your self-confidence. Here are some tips to make a start:
1. Step-by-Step Every Day
It is important to do something to develop the areas you feel uncomfortable with regularly. This can mean doing something, no matter how small, to stretch yourself each and every day remembering it’s important that you do it. The more you feel anxious and nervous about taking a step forward for change, yet take it, the easier you’ll transform and build your lifestyle for the better. In time you’ll build a new comfort zone and create positive producing habits.
2. Accept the Fear
You must recognise that whenever you grow, accept a new challenge and develop you WILL feel fear and anxiety. It is also important to remember that you are human and it is a completely natural response to be fearful of new situations and experiences.
Interestingly an acronym of FEAR is False Expectations Assuming Reality. This means that fear is based on the worry of actually experiencing the worst outcomes we imagine to happen from the efforts we put in to achieving the goal. Perhaps you could ask yourself; ‘What exactly am I afraid of?’, ‘Is this a realistic fear to have?’, ‘How many times in the past has your worst fears surrounding an experience actually occurred?’
Acknowledging and accepting our fears is also within our control and this helps us to gain a healthy perspective of the reality of what outcomes might be achieved. What we seriously need to work on avoiding is allowing our fears about ‘imagined’ failure prevent us from moving forward to achieve our goals.
3. Reward Your Efforts
Having taken that step it is extremely important to congratulate yourself and, if you feel it appropriate, reward yourself in some way.
You must never, never underestimate the importance of taking an action which you were anxious or fearful at taking. It is a massive achievement to have overcome those worries and taken the step anyway. All too often people only focus on negative results. They overlook the actions they have completed and move straight on to the next challenge. STOP. Think about what you have just achieved and enjoy the moment of success.

Before you realise it the things that at first made you anxious are now part of your every day life as you attack larger and larger challenges.
IIC Member Benefit Spotlight: ICR
 The
International Coaching Register is for any individual who trades as a
Coach, who help individuals and/or organisations for example, establish a
work life balance, manage stress levels and build communication skills
amongst many other specialist areas.
Everyone who has qualified as a Coach with a recognised Coach training
company should now take the opportunity to register. This will dramatically
cut down on any misrepresentation that goes on within the industry. Many
people have websites and call themselves a
Coach but have no actual qualifications. The register will stop these
people and raise the profile of genuine Coaching and how it can transform
people’s lives.
President of the IIC Gerard O’Donovan said “the register has
been administered by the IIC for the benefit of the world of Coaching and
Coaching clients. It is also a great way for Coaches to get business as
members of the public can search for registered Coaches in their area. It
brings Coaching transparency at last.”
