Trusting the Moment: Unlocking Your Creativity and Imagination

Jeannie Lindheim wrote a book called Trusting the Moment: Unlocking Your Creativity and Imagination, that just came out in March, published by Satya House Publications.
Jeannie will discuss her book, several exercises in the book and how coaches can most effectively use the book. She will share tools and techniques for unlocking your creativity. There will be plenty of time for Q and A.


She will answer these questions:

  ·      How do you get rid of the judges that can block creativity?
  ·      What kind of environment do you need to be in to stimulate creativity?
  ·      How can you use these exercises in the book on your own?
  ·      What gets in the way of creativity?
 
Jeannie Lindheim has taught acting, movement, improvisation, creativity, auditioning, and characterization techniques for thirty years at a variety of educational institutions including The Boston Conservatory, Harvard University Law School (Theater in the Courtroom), Boston University, Boston College, and others. She ran her own theater school for thirteen years. She is currently the director of Jeannie Lindheim’s Center for Creativity – Turning Inspiration into Action, where she offers diverse workshops. Clean Language for Coaches

Clean Language is an exciting tool for coaches to enable clients to gain new perspectives and discover creative insights. Developed by NZ Psychologist David Grove whilst working with victims of trauma, Clean Language provides a safe route into a client’s own internal wisdom contained within their non-conscious mind. This is achieved through the exploration of the client’s own (often unconscious) use of metaphors to express their situation, self and goal. The Clean Language process consists of a set of principles and some very specific questions which have a certain structure that mean they are ‘cleansed’ of a coachee’s own mental ‘maps’, judgments, beliefs and opinions. This ‘clean’ approach means that the client has no-one else to go with their answers other than further inside their own thinking, until they reach a different understanding. Clean Language helps clients to think about how they're thinking can lead to a greater self-awareness and often, transformational change.

This Webinar will cover the basic principles of Clean Language, introduce you to Clean Language questions, how they are structured, and also give you the opportunity to witness a live demonstration of a coaching session using Clean Language. You will also have time for any questions.
