The IIC, originally the ECI, formed in 1999 as a not-for-profit accreditation organisation, to be a force for good in coaching, for individual Coaches and for companies offering Coach Training and Workshops.
The ECI:
The ECI (now the IIC) was created to establish and administer standards and ethics for accrediting professional and qualified coaches and coach training organisations.
works to assure the public that participating coaches and coach training organisations meet these standards.
is committed to re-inforcing professional coaching as a distinct and self-regulating profession.
